HammerKit grows

It has been 6 months since I took the MD role at HammerKit and it has had it's share of highlights and tough moments. The great thing is that we are now bigger, stronger and better prepared for growth than ever before. We are going to grow fast!

In May this year we added two new team members; Louise Lazzari, a very talented graphic artist and concept designer who has quickly become our first true "devigner"; and Peter Parkkali, an absolute guru in all things Linux. Peter has already managed to prepare our managed services offering and will look after our growing infrastructure. We also added a team from Ahmedabad, India through a partnership with Gateway Technolabs Finland. Our CTO, Jani Vhsyrinki visited there for a week and got the team assembling applications after just one day of instruction - a real testimony to the truth that component building is faster than coding.

We have also had a little change of image as you can see....we hope you like it!

In June we were selected to participate in the EASY investment forum in London. This let me pitch the company to over 200 investors from across Europe and I am happy to say that we attracted serious interest from 8 investors located from Sweden to Turkey. We are now closing this round of investment and are excited about putting our growth plans into action to make HammerKit the leading platform for web services development.

So here we are in August and I want to tell you what is coming up from HammerKit over the next few months. We launched the Component Factory last month and now you can get your very own HammerKit Component Factory completely free (www.hammerkit.com/gethammerkit) so you can start assembling web services from components. Next up is the Component Marketplace where you will be able to sell components you build to other web devigners - this will launch later this Autumn.

We are also expanding our sales network and will be looking for ISPs, System Integrators and Web Designers that want to offer new web presence services or really streamline their production methods. HammerKit can do both!

Finally, and most importantly for our future development is centered around an entirely new version of HammerKit that will incorporate everything we know about building web services from components, but will radically improve the production ease and speed.
